RITAGE MUSIC VIDEO\n\nWe are pleased to announce that the festival
committee has extended the deadline of the 2nd Annual Farhang Foundat
ion Short Film Festival to Monday, February 22, 2010.\n\nThis year, fi
lmmakers from all walks of life, Iranian and non-Iranian, are invited
to create a music video (less than 9 minutes).\n\nA music video is a s
hort movie or animation that is accompanied with music of any style or
genre (contemporary, pop, classical, folk, Iranian, non-Iranian, etc.
). The music may be with or without lyrics and in any language. The mu
sic and the lyrics may be original or pre-existing. The video and the
music need to compliment each other in telling a visual story about an
aspect of Iranian Heritage such as arts, history, culture, crafts, ge
ography, cuisine or lifestyle. For specific questions about your video
s please send us an email to. submissions@sociarts.com.\n\nFarhang Fou
ndation will be looking for music videos that inspire and spark the au
dience's interest in learning more about Iranian art, history and cult
ure.\n\nAdditionally, all entries will be judged for creativity, quali
