On September 2, 2010, the City of Beverly Hills will host a day of festivities and celebrations called 90210 Day. Hosted by Larry King, this special evening will offer gourmet food, wine, marquee entertainment, fireworks and is expected to draw over 1,500 guests and extensive media coverage, including CNN and various local and international radio, television and print media outlets.
The celebration of this day is the brainchild of the Honorable Mayor Jimmy Delshad who also shares the passion of celebrating his Iranian heritage with us and has invited us to
participate in this great program.
Farhang Foundation – the preeminent organization in Southern California dedicated to celebrating and promoting Iranian art, culture, and heritage – plans to participate in
this event and host an exclusive modern Persian Cuisine display, by gathering the best of talents and Chefs to share elegant samplings of delicious Persian cuisine, while educating the guests about the origin of each item served at this event. We feel this will be a great opportunity to introduce our cuisine – one of the best parts of our beautiful culture - to the VIP crowd and members of the Beverly Hills community in attendance, thereby shining a positive light on Iranians everywhere.
