Farhang Kicks-off Summer 2016 with more exciting Cultural Events and Projects
FREEDOM - A SHARED DREAM New Website Launch!
Farhang Foundation has been working feverishly on this project since the announcement of the winning design back in November, and we are proud to announce the launch of the new dedicated website.  The sculpture, designed by renowned artist, Cecil Balmond is now in the process of being manufactured with plans for the Los Angeles unveiling in July of 2017.  This permanent iconic monument represents the universal humanitarian values of individual freedom and multicultural coexistence - the ideals of Cyrus The Great, King of the Persian Empire from 2,500 years ago.  The Founding Fathers of America, inspired by Cyrus, put these same values in the core of the U.S. Constitution. This sculpture will be gifted to the City of Los Angeles by Farhang Foundation on behalf of all Iranians, and will be permanently installed on Santa Monica Blvd in Century City, one of the busiest streets in Los Angeles. Learn more about this project and how you can help support it by visiting FreedomSculpture.org and watch this latest report from Manoto TV.
