Join us to celebrate NOWRUZ, the festival of world renewal, featuring a special display of “Haft-Sîn”, a major tradition of Nowruz, along with “Saaz & Dohol” musicians, traditional Persian dancers and more.

Premiere of THE PERSIAN RITE OF SPRING by The Translation Project’s NILOUFAR TALEBI
THE PERSIAN RITE OF SPRING is a multimedia show about the history, mythology, poetry, folklore and celebrations of Nowruz, featuring the music of composer Bobak Salehi.
LOCATION: Leo S. Bing Theater
Limited Seating (450). FREE tickets are available for this program, at the LACMA box office, starting at 11 a.m. One ticket per guest.
3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Musical Performance by HAMED NIKPAY ENSEMBLE
Featuring some of the most talented world musicians, performing a fusion of Persian melodies written by HAMED NIKPAY with flamenco beats.
LOCATION: L.A. Times Central Courtyard**
Programs taking place in this area don’t require a ticket.
