2022 UCLA Celebration of Iranian Cinema
On April 29, 2022, the annual UCLA CELEBRATION OF IRANIAN CINEMA kicked-off with the UCLA premiere of HIT THE ROAD, the directorial debut by Panah Panahi. The series was back at the Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum after a two-year pandemic imposed hiatus with a sold out audience. This year's series which ran through May 8, 2022 featured ten feature film premieres by Iranian filmmakers. Thank you to the sold out audiences who joined us throughout the series celebration. Special thanks to the UCLA Film and Television Archive for their commitment to this annual film series.
